How to Make Time for More Spiritual Connection in the Next 30 Days, (Even if You’re Hella Busy)

How to Make Time for More Spiritual Connection in the Next 30 Days, (Even if You’re Hella Busy)

I get it. You’re smashing goals, leading teams, and building empires. Your calendar looks like a game of Tetris and finding time for a spiritual connection seems like a luxury you can’t afford. But let’s be real – nurturing your spirit is just as crucial as hitting those KPIs.

So, how do you carve out time for spirituality when you’re already juggling a million things? Here’s a 30-day plan to help you make time for more spiritual connection, no matter how hella busy you are.

Week 1: Mini Mindfulness Moments

Day 1-7: Start Small

  1. Morning Mindfulness (5 minutes): Begin your day with a quick 5-minute meditation. Set your intention for the day and focus on your breath. Apps like Calm or Headspace can be your morning buddies.
  2. Gratitude Journaling (5 minutes): End your day by jotting down three things you’re grateful for. This shifts your mindset and opens your heart.

Week 2: Spiritual Snippets

Day 8-14: Integrate Spiritual Practices into Your Daily Routine

  1. Spiritual Audiobooks/Podcasts (Commute Time): Turn your commute into a spiritual journey. Listen to audiobooks or podcasts that inspire and uplift you. (Drop your favorite audio in the comments - I'm compiling a list.)
  2. Mindful Lunch Breaks (10 minutes): Dedicate 10 minutes of your lunch break to step outside, breathe deeply, and connect with nature.

Week 3: Sacred Space Creation

Day 15-21: Build Your Sanctuary

  1. Create a Sacred Space: Designate a corner of your home as your spiritual haven. Add items that bring you peace – crystals, candles, sacred texts, or even a comfy cushion.
  2. Evening Rituals (15 minutes): Spend 15 minutes in your sacred space before bed. Meditate, read spiritual literature, or simply sit in silence.

Week 4: Deep Dive into Connection

Day 22-30: Prioritize and Deepen Your Practice

  1. Weekly Digital Detox (1 hour): Schedule an hour each week to unplug from technology. Use this time to reflect, journal, or practice yoga.
  2. Spiritual Community (30 minutes): Connect with like-minded individuals. Join a spiritual group, attend a virtual service, or participate in an online meditation session.

Bonus Tips to Stay on Track:

  • Schedule It: If it's not on my calendar it doesn't get done. Add your spiritual practices to your calendar just like any other important meeting.
  • Accountability Buddy: Find a friend who’s on a similar journey and keep each other motivated.
  • Be Kind to Yourself: Don’t stress if you miss a day. Spirituality is about practice, not perfection.

Remember, making time for spirituality doesn’t require hours of meditation or weekend retreats. It’s about consistent, small steps that fit into your busy life. When you nurture your spirit, you bring more clarity, peace, and purpose to every aspect of your life.

So, let’s commit to these 30 days and see the transformation unfold. Who’s with me? Drop a comment or DM me to share your journey.
