As an occupational hazard, I subscribe to what feels like all GenAI tools. Some of them are awesome, some of them are....not. In the latter basket, I would put Microsoft CoPilot Pro. As such, I was not surprised when they got some recent press from a pharma CIO cancelling their subscription and saying it did work comparable to "middle school presentations". That's a little uncharitable, but not necessarily altogether unfair. CoPilot Pro is among the least impressive "big" tools. Yet, major corporations are also almost always Microsoft houses, so it's _very_ lucrative to just sign up with them and consider the GenAI box ticked. *Whew*, the C-team can then move onto other pressing matters, right? Not so fast. A little piece of advice: do not be anchored by what your existing vendors tell you. It may or may not be the best thing for you. Oh, and CoPilot Pro? I subscribed to it the minute I could. I cancelled the subscription last week.
