Authors, I highly recommend doing your research before doing business with Author Solutions or any of their many "affiliates"...like Westbow or AuthorHouse. I did my research, but just a little late. After I already signed with Westbow, I started having multiple issues. They made it seem like I was the only one. But then, I started speaking to other authors who had published with them...95% of them had the same complaints. Zero communication, horrible customer service, and failure to produce royalties. I called to tell them I had literal proof of some places like B&N that have hosted me for events...with all of those sales and proof of their sales, they refused to listen or help. One customer service rep told me that "she doesn't handle complaints". One told me I could only speak to their supervisor but he was out for the day. The next one told me that the same supervisor was working, but just on the phone. And when I finally spoke to the supervisor, he told me that wasn't something he handled. I started making calls at 10am...still on the phone and it's 4:50pm. My advice: RUNNNNNNN!
