PBL craft that very few professional development courses teach you. 1) Create the Space - the module and the learners need to breathe, learn to operate in the gaps. 2) Evaluate Constantly - nothing wrong with making mistakes or projects going haywire, just learn to pivot fast and reflect. 3) Implement - planning is good, endless planning is not, if you know your gaps and where you’ll create space, you know your key transitions (see previous post) and can pivot — you’ll be fine, have faith. #pbl #craft #execute

A teaching approach I found valuable is project-based learning (PBL) that uses both synchronous and asynchronous elements. In PBL, we work on projects that solve real-world problems. During our live class sessions (synchronous), we can brainstorm ideas, get feedback from our teachers, and collaborate with classmates. Then, we can continue our work online (asynchronous) by researching, creating presentations, and discussing our progress in discussion boards. This combination allows us to learn actively and think critically while also letting us work at our own pace. Using PBL with both synchronous and asynchronous learning keeps us motivated and helps us connect what we learn to real-life situations.
