What's it like to be part of the team running t-shirt campaigns for the RSPB one day and Beast Philanthropy the next? ?? We sat down with our Account Director, Robbie, to get his perspective. ??? What does a typical day in your role look like? A nice blend of working closely with key clients on their marketing strategies and empowering my team to perform in their roles. ?? What's your favourite part of the role? Well, it's the whole thing. Working closely with awesome organisations to help them achieve their goals, as well as developing the internal strategy and tools that the team need to keep growing, all while cleaning up the fashion industry at the same time. ?? What's been your favourite campaign to work on? The Shark Trust store will always be up there for me just because of how important I think their work is, plus they punch above their weight in terms of store performance vs their size, which is very rewarding. Working with Greenpeace UK on their 'Don't stop thinking about tomorrow' campaign last summer was pretty cool too. ?????? What makes Teemill a great place to work? I like the whole 'small company, get it done approach'. There's no bureaucracy or internal politics. If you have an idea, you can own it and go try it. Because of our mission, the people we bring in are all down to earth and share a similar outlook. It makes working across teams super straightforward! ?? Good news, you can get in on the action. One of the most ignored parts of social media is community management. Absolutely baffling to me that brands continue to overlook the importance of it. ?? I have seen many brands neglecting comments, leaving unresolved queries in messages, and consumer engagement on their social media posts. Social is a 2 way street! If you don't engage with your audience you are essentially shouting into the void. Fostering your community is critical; without your community you don't have an audience. Prioritize your community by hiring a dedicated community manager. & equip them to help your audience with what they need.

My work accomplishments were also recognized in 2021 as I was awarded as 30 Under 30 recipient by the Publicity Club of Chicago. We owe you an update on our hiring process! ?? - First of all, this is the hardest process EVERRR because there are so many talented applicants. It's actually wild. Your portfolios are so impressive ?? - Not only are you all smart af, but it has been incredible to see how many of you already live an eco-conscious lifestyle and/or are outdoorists. - We LOVE that our clients will be able to trust our work because everyone who works at The Giddy Group is truly their target audience. There is no shortage of talent here. - It's so cool to see that you all have made such great strides professionally, but on a personal level share such a passion for backpacking, snowboarding, skiing, trail running, camping, hiking, etc. We can tell how passionate you all are in your responses. Which is why it's taken so long for us to go through everything! Here's where we're at: - Three content creators have been hired (all for eco-conscious businesses): We chose them because their portfolios showed how they've made an impact while showing how they live a sustainable lifestyle. They walk the walk! They also all speak to the camera authentically. Super important. - One community manager has been hired (but we're still hiring more!) We've talked to a handful of strategists, social media managers and influencer marketers as well. We're still considering everyone we've talked to ?? Again, if you haven't been contacted by us yet, no worries. We're always considering talent from this list.
