Kudos to Delta Air Lines 2. College ?? is becoming expensive, faster than rate of inflation. Is this going to be a reality, where kids are going to opt for skills based vocational education vs. traditional college degree? ?? 3. Skills based diplomas are pretty common in India ????, China ????. Will we see growing trend in ?????? 4. Will steps like these helps brands attract young talent, in an easier way? ?? Exciting Times Ahead! ?? I’m thrilled about my unique experience and participation in the National Veteran MBA Conference! (#MBAVets2024) hosted by Craig Griffin and the team earlier this month in #Atlanta, Georgia. It was a fantastic event and an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow #veterans across the globe, the business leaders who are transforming businesses through their valuable #transferrableskills, and engaging with their customers more comprehensively. I never had such an enriching experience in my professional career, but all thanks to Judi Umali-Rajkumar, Alexandra Cross, Cheryl Posner, Vincent Phillips, M.Ed, Annie Cadigan Dunlap, and the whole of the CMC Team at Southern Methodist University, SMU Cox School of Business who made us conference ready. They helped us throughout the summers and equipped us with soft skills that came in handy while interacting with the #globalLeadership from lots many companies like Microsoft, Alvarez & Marsal, Walmart, Nucor Corporation, Chewy, Lowe's Companies, Inc., Love's Travel Stops, Applied Materials, Bank of America, Johnson & Johnson, AbbVie, State Street, Abbott, Amazon, Elanco, Forvis Mazars US, Harbor Freight Tools, and many more. ?? Why was it special? ?? Enabled me to constructively engage with fellow vets, understanding their business models and dynamic leaders who have successfully transitioned into the paradigm of the business world. It allowed me to connect with vets across the countries (beyond the borders), with world-renowned B-Schools like Dartmouth College, Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management, Washington State University, University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, University of Southern California, University of North Carolina at Charlotte, University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business and many more, which accelerated my networking pace. ?? What did I learn? ?? While career transition is a personal journey, participating in such conferences and connecting with like-minded leaders can significantly accelerate your career trajectory.
