Last year, as part of Clootrack, we had the privilege of showcasing at #GITEX Northstar, Subbakrishna Rao and I not only connected with industry leaders who visited our booth but also used the time to engage with key prospects in Dubai. It was an invaluable experience, filled with meaningful conversations and new opportunities. As we crafted our 2024 GTM strategy, the Middle East quickly stood out as a region brimming with potential. While the US remains our core market, the momentum in the Middle East was undeniable. We initially focused on Dubai, and soon expanded to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and ultimately, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Our GTM approach was comprehensive—participating in CX events, launching a region-specific podcast, and building exceptional relationships. Along the way, we’ve gained deep insights into the market’s unique dynamics, positioning ourselves to make a lasting impact. We welcomed Danube Properties as our first real estate partner in the Middle East last week. This partnership marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Clootrack in the region, and we couldn’t be more excited about the journey ahead. At Gitex Dubai I observed a lot of stalls were absolutely dead. No visitors. Why would they stand there, if they have no reason to stop by? Thats called product positioning gap. Your message should be so clear that your ideal prospects should feel as if this is the right place to check-in. What you need? "Clear value props + Problem statement + Differentiation" And the best part of having it: the conversation is absolutely meaningful. I know you would have expected to hear how great this event was and why AI is the next big thing from me. If I tell you, every 4 in 5 companies at Gitex Dubai, was mentioning 'AI' in their banner. I'm talking about thousands of exhibitors. Imagine the speed of commoditization in the AI thing. The real builders are the only ones to gain real velocity. The real builders with the right positioning will gain real velocity, the fastest way. However, I loved speaking to some CXOs building some real stuff. Looking forward to the February one for sure.
