THINK I'm mad. Been to the RiverWalk lately? BayWalk is worse. I'm mad because the downtown amenities are messed up. The riverside is a miss for the jazz concert season. And the river keep center appeared blown with bits out prior to its removal. Where's the North Atlantic Right Whale? I used to see his it's tail near the river estuary. I'm mad because apartments are being built into a congregational facility that has a historic designation from the National Register of Historic Places. I'm mad that apartments are being built into a historic YWCA - which is geographically suited to become a bookstore. Once in a while I see burlap bags covering the street lights. Hmmm. The Marriott BonVoy has not yet completed its adaptive reuse hotel project on Laura Street. When will they get here? And what happened to the bridge that I used to walk across from Corkscrew Park? You could enter the BayWalk from this bridge and meet at the yoga-based park where they held concerts. I'm mad. I don't like some of these military deployments. I want my kids at home. What's with this "not legitimate conflict items"? The wars don't seem like real conflicts to me. There's real conflict here at home, though. And that great big shark fin feeding off the shores of Jacksonville Beach is frightening. Appearing twenty-seven feet high. Godzilla-Leviathan type stuff. Quiet horror movie type stuff. "Did I just see that?" type stuff. Wasn't there a US Navy ship anchored 50 miles offshore protecting beach goers? Who moved my care? And, I don't like purchasing a case of soda from the store just to discover it's tainted with different drugs. The St. John's River appears stagnant and the tap water downtown is dispotent. Philadelphia. Can I get an eye-witness? That stiff upper lip structure that used to be 2nd Street is a mess. Not even suitable for skateboards. It ended my walk. And my friend, the one and only Penn's Landing, is barely viewable from this angle. Furthermore, I have had FEMA sites for radiation in my neighborhood and not one address. Lately, it doesn't seem that what is important to me in this life is important to the elected stand also. The earth. The economy. The military. Historic places. Industry strength and wealth. International affairs. The US Constitution. And the banks? Test-of-time kinds of banks. Suddenly there are names missed from the skyline. And you know they have money. Who has done this thing? The banks are open, you louses! You know what I think? I think there are too many crooks around. And I think I read more than two names on the ballot for the November presidential election. There are seven listed candidates and a blank line for a write-in candidate. This public policy-related moment brought to you today by Lorrinn Cassandra Woods. #Thebes #Normandy #RegalMOB #Philadelphia #Election2024 #RockTheVote #BonVoy #Marriott #Care #VisitJacksonville #GetOnTheBus #FDIC

Something we take for granted? The benefits (and relief) of a great neighbor. Yes, we can DoorDash anything we need, but nothing beats the feeling of having someone close by that you can count on. Borrowing some flour, bringing the mail in while you’re away - It’s those little moments of support that make us feel connected in our communities. Speaking of good neighbors - I wanted to share a few of my favorite neighborhoods in Fresno and Clovis: Woodward Park- Imagine starting your day with a walk or jog along scenic paths, surrounded by nature’s beauty. River Park is just around the corner, offering a fantastic array of restaurants and shops for your enjoyment. With the freeway so close, getting around is a breeze, and live outdoor concerts in the park bring the community together for fun and memorable evenings. Old Town Clovis- Living in Old Town Clovis offers the charm of being within walking distance to all the exciting events held on Pollasky Street. The neighborhood features cute older bungalow homes, each with generously sized lots. You’ll enjoy a sense of community and history as you stroll through the area. Plus, the vibrant local culture and regular festivities make it a delightful place to call home. The Tower District- Living in the Tower District offers the charm of unique, character-filled older architecture, a refreshing change from typical cookie-cutter homes. The neighborhood has a friendly and inviting vibe that makes you feel welcome. With a variety of community activities and events, there’s always something to bring residents together. It’s a place where rich history and vibrant community spirit create a truly special living experience. Send me a DM if you’d like a list of homes for sale in these neighborhoods! #fresnoneighborhoods #clovisneighborhoods #fresnorealestate #clovisrealestate #jenniferyagerrealtor #fresyes #realbroker #workhardbekind

How can a generation that never experienced the "good old days" recreate them? ?? ??♀? Did you know Gwinnett County Public Parks has small and large pavilion rental options? ?? If you're a Gwinnett resident, the small seats 15-50+ people depending on the park for $35 an hour, or $ 45 hourly for Non-Gwinnett residents. ???????? The large pavilion's seating arrangement varies between 75-160 capacity, with a rental rate of $60/hour for Gwinnett residents and $90/rate for non-Gwinnett residents. ?????? ???? Interested? Create designated lists for yourself and helping hands regarding expected guests, top location preferences, and potential entertainment to avoid juggling tasks. Then, split the bill ?? (If you can)! The goal is to spread affordable, wholesome fun. ?? If their pricing is up-to-date, a 4-hour small pavilion rental is approximately $140. What's the price if split between 4 people? $35 #gwinnettevents #gwinnettcounty #community #communityevents #georgia
