These folks right here! These are real MVPs when it comes to the operations you see out in the park. They are the engine that keeps the wheels of Ride Operations turning. You see all those ride operators out there staffing rides, these guys made sure they were there for you. You see those rides testing, these guys made sure every single one of them are safe for you. You see all those associates brooms in hand cleaning, these guys brought that broom to them. When I tell you the role of these guys right here is important, I mean we 100000% could not do it without them. And it’s truly a pleasure to do so with people who are so passionate about the industry and working with people. When it comes to writing nominations for our Values awards, sometimes the words can be hard to find to summarize a great contribution to the team in a few short sentences. But let me tell you, when it comes to the definition and meaning of what our Cornerstones and Core Values are, these folks right here would be the picture in the dictionary. Please join me in celebrating them for receiving their Values awards for all the hard work they do day in and day out.

Y'all voted and let me know that everyone wants to learn more about working at Hugging Face, so let's start by talking about one of the reasons WHY we are one of the Best Places to Work ?? We communicate differently. Typically, companies manage their external messaging through a select few in the C-suite, aiming for a tightly controlled narrative. At Hugging Face, we've literally flipped that idea upside down. We empower every team member to share openly and publicly, drawing on their unique areas of expertise. Our founders are aware of their strengths (Julien, for example, has exquisite taste in couches), but also acknowledge they're not experts in everything. Not only does this allow us to showcase and celebrate the wins and contributions of every team member but it is also an inherently inclusive approach that supports inputs from varied backgrounds and identities. As Brigitte aptly put it, "our impact is driven by a diversity of voices." When we really listen to and appreciate everyone's input, we make our community stronger and more innovative. This inclusive, open communication culture is one of the aspects I'm most proud of at Hugging Face ??
We didn't need the award to know but we won't complain! If you're thinking of a change this year, you know where to apply ??????

Focusing on the roles we play is far more important than the titles we hold. Titles are temporary and can change, but the impact of the roles we perform will be remembered.? Those who prioritize titles should consider the reality that once these titles are gone, the recognition may fade. However, if we truly fulfill our roles and responsibilities, the positive impact we make will last, regardless of any title changes. It's the contributions we make and the value we add that define our legacy.

It's been a wild 3 Months in at Hilltop | certified B-Corp ??! Reflections as I ring the post-probation bell (IYKYK ??) 1. Honey is way more complicated than consumers (and actually the industry) give it credit for. ?? 2. In a way, its harder to have so many brilliant things to talk about; working through getting 'single minded' in who we are, and what we stand for could easily take us in any number of directions. With some help from St Luke's London and some friendly challenge from Karen Ross... I reckon we're there. ?? 3. Consumer insight groups are forever rewarding, but I have a new appreciation for moderators! That was a tiring day! ?? 4. People *really do* make it. The sense of community and spirit here is something I've not experienced before; there's a wider sense of connection to each other, the business, the environment & the consumer. Thankful for my team who are really stepping it up to deliver a wild ambition in very little time, and excited for the growth of our team. ?? 5. Challenger brand life is exciting; the pace in which things happen and get done, the new thinking, the challenging ourselves and our agencies to do things different, be bolder... Our plans are beyond all the expectations of what I thought was possible to build in 3 months! ?? 2024/25 - Lets go! ?? Jessica Thomas Lowri Humphreys Seren Griffiths Scott Davies

Reflecting on my recent one-on-one session with Lori (Goldenhersh) Ryan, Senior Director of Client Leadership at Mars United Commerce, I wanted to share five standout pieces of advice that deeply resonated with me. Her insights and experience provided invaluable guidance that I believe will benefit everyone. Here are my top five takeaways from our conversation: ??. Treat everyone with equal respect, regardless of their position or status. ??. Take full responsibility for your work. People respect those who own their mistakes and don’t shift blame onto others. ??. When you make a mistake, view it as a learning opportunity and move forward. Mistakes are essential for growth and improvement. ??. Be a reliable and dependable person- always be someone others can count on. ??. Remember, time is money. Use it wisely and efficiently to maximize productivity.

There’s so many ways to be a good place to work or a good person to work for. But if we aren’t practicing this one thing, it’s impossible to be great. It’s imperative that we understand and practice the difference between Recognition and Appreciation. Recognition is focused on a persons achievements. Appreciation is a practice of expression for a persons value. In what ways do you receive appreciation at work? We’d love to hear from you.

??Core Value Countdown?? As we approach the end of the year we're highlighting the core values that drive our team. This weeks: Don't Close Deals, Open Relationships - Success is measured by the relationships we form, and the trust that we build. This core value reflects our commitment to focusing on what truly matters: developing partnerships that go beyond transactions and create lasting impact. A perfect example of this in action is our producer, Christi McDonald. Christi goes above and beyond for her clients, always putting their well-being first. She genuinely cares about each person she serves, often checking in on how they're doing before even talking business. Her dedication to opening relationships, not just closing deals, is an inspiration to us all. Because for us, it's not about closing deals; it's about opening doors, building trust, and being there every step of the way.
