Volker Recksiek and Dr. NIKHIL DHAWAN for award of #pairedearlycareerFellowshipinAppliedResearch by Indo-German Science & Technology Centre. They will work together on the #PRIME #project and exchange the #know-how and #capacities in #e-waste #recycling by using #pyrometallurgy. Recovery of #valuable and #criticalrawmaterials from #e-waste feeds is the emerging and pressing need for our times. This is evident with ever increasing stockpiles of #e-wastes. Our #world-class technological #know-how and #piloting #infrastructure in #metallurgy at Helmholtz Institute Freiberg for Resource Technology (HIF) at HZDR, Germany will be used for the development of #innovative and #scalable technologies in collaboration with Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee India.
