Yesterday, we held the Land-Based Service Engineering Apprenticeship (LBSE) Employer Forum on campus. On the day, we were joined by representatives from dealerships, Case & New Holland (CNHI) who oversee and sponsor the programme, ARU and Writtle College. Writtle College, ARU and CNHI are three years into a high profile LBSE programme, where apprentices employed by CNHI dealership undertake a 3-year apprenticeship delivered in partnership by Writtle College and CNHI technical trainers, using state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. There are currently 76 apprentices on the programme, spread across a wide range of dealerships across the country, with the first cohort due to complete in 2025. ????Find out more about this innovative apprenticeship: https://lnkd.in/eJMJakyK

CCC Registered Apprenticeship Program is thrilled to announce we’ve teamed up with Lakeview High School to offer Nebraska Department of Labor Youth Apprenticeships. Juniors in high school would have opportunities for on the job training in Welding and Mechatronics, while taking a skill and technical focused curriculum at school. The apprentice would be treated as a part time employee with hour restrictions. These provide youth a practical pathway while exposing them to an industry they plan on pursuing as a career. DOL Youth Apprenticeships also allows 16 & 17 year olds to work in a manufacturing setting, giving your company a chance to develop your way. Reach out to me with any questions and if you’re interested in building an additional pipeline from Lakeview to your business!

For generations, apprenticeships have only been associated in many peoples’ minds with trades. Even more specifically, construction-related trades like plumbing, electrical, roof tiling and carpentry. Like many things to do with apprenticeships and traineeships, though, things have changed dramatically in recent years.
