Ruvini Ranasingha-Hetti, a lecturer in Commercial Production (Fresh Produce) at our Writtle Campus, shares her thoughts: "Achieving equity requires proactive efforts to break down barriers for women, particularly those from diverse and underprivileged backgrounds. This includes increasing access to education, mentorship, and leadership opportunities, as well as creating more inclusive and supportive environments. Representation matters when women see others like them succeeding, it inspires them to aim higher.
