Earlier this year, when analyzing market segments for prioritization of rollout, we performed a review of existing published studies that looked at the impact of using 3D software and printed models to explain injuries had on a juror's understanding of the injury. Some other interesting trends came up as well in this context. Retrospective error rates for radiologic examinations are around 30%. Given that statistic, using medical imaging viewers that no one outside of radiologists understand and interpret, means those errors continue to go undetected. Its one of the many reasons we think patients and all physicians should have access to medical imaging platforms that they can understand. It means there's a chance that each of those 30% errors during the radiologic examinations, might get caught by a downstream physician, patient, or caretaker.
