In this iteration of Arena's public ML journal club, we join the speculation on what this technology could actually be. We'll cover the main components that might be involved: A* search, Q-learning (and deep Q-Learning), and tree-of-thought (ToT) LLM reasoning and present our best guess of how they might come together to bring more reasoning capabilities to language models.
