We all know how important social connection is to happiness, yet loneliness is rising across society and is particularly hard on those considered ‘different’, no matter how unfair it is. The children we’ve lost in Sumy. The children we’ve lost over the past 10 years of war. We can’t bring them back, no matter how much it hurts. But we can support those who survived, but lost their loved ones. They feel hopeless and alone. Their pain is unimaginable, and they navigate this reality without support, in unfamiliar cities, amongst strangers. Yet, we have the power to change their lives. We can give them hope and open doors to a better future. For 3 years, the Generation+ program has been helping these kids.?? All it takes is your support. For some businesspeople (and that’s most of you reading this), 5,000 UAH a month might be the cost of a single dinner. But it can become a month’s support for a child, a chance to show them they are not alone. I’ve already signed up to support five children for a year, contributing 25,000 UAH each month.
