This clarity empowers engineering not just to complete tasks like "Make XYZ feature self-served," but to grasp the strategic direction, push boundaries, and continually improve, as such strategies often evolve over time. Lets see how the following well-known factors that define the strategy **directly impacts engineering** approach and day-to-day decision making. 1. Demand Generation - Inbound vs Outbound PLG: Developing robust tracking mechanisms, user analytics, and data collection tools that provide insights into user behavior and product usage patterns. SLG: Developing features and functionalities that support the sales team's efforts in acquiring and retaining enterprise customers. 2. We are the company that says YES by seeding, cultivating, and wrangling ecosystem innovation for Enterprises Corporate IT?is largely served by a handful of major platforms that provide most of the functionality that enterprises need to run their businesses.?Yet there are still significant functionality gaps. Customers continually demand more features, but the big platforms cannot address all of these asks — platforms must necessarily focus on their core and most strategic roadmap items.
