?? Important Update on 10DLC Registration Compliance ?? As of October 14, new 10DLC compliance requirements from The Campaign Registry and mobile carriers will take effect. If you manage SMS campaigns, here’s what you need to know: ?? Key SMS Program Disclosures Now Required: Program (brand) name Message frequency disclosure (if applicable) Product description Customer care contact information Opt-out information (if applicable) “Message and data rates may apply” disclosure (unless FTEU-rated) ?? Additional Changes: Opt-in language must be specific to SMS only—no bundling with email or calls. Call-to-action (CTA) for messaging must be exclusive to messaging. Mandatory Privacy Policy & Terms and Conditions fields are now part of campaign registration. Message frequency disclosure must be included in opt-in CTAs. Website forms cannot have mandatory phone number fields. With election season in full swing, compliance is more important than ever!
