?????? ?????????? ???????????? ????????: ?????? ?????????? ??????????????, ?? ???????????????????? ???????????? ????????? ???????????? ?????????????????????????? ?????????? ????????, ???????? ???????????????? ???????? The talk event was part of the Melaka International Halal Festival 2024 (MIHF’24), marked the perfect conclusion to the year. This event, also in celebration of the Year of Visiting Malacca 2024, aimed to not only boost tourism but also position Melaka as a leading hub for the halal industry. By doing so, it seeks to promote growth and foster collaboration within the competitive halal market on an international platform. The Halal Development Corporation Berhad (HDC) played a pivotal role in organizing the event, bringing together industry professionals and experts for insightful knowledge-sharing sessions. The discussions were designed to engage the public in exploring the growing significance of the halal industry and its expanding role in both local and global markets. HDC and the local organisers complemented each other well. As a representative of Wipro Unza Malaysia, I shared insights on the evolution of the halal concept, tracing its origins from Islamic teachings to its current status as a global phenomenon. This pocket talk delved into how the halal concept has adapted across time and geography, influencing societal norms and laws. Today, halal has become a major contributor to global economy. Today, certifications extends far beyond food to include products like cosmetics and travel services. Today, the ethical dimensions of halal have evolved to incorporate values like sustainability and humane practices. In parallel, I also highlighted SAFI’s journey in evolving its product range. From its humble beginnings, the brand has diversified to offer a wide range of halal cosmetics and skincare products, driven by technological advancements and a commitment to syariah compliance in meeting the needs of today’s consumers. As we look forward to 2025, I wish for the continued growth of the halal industry, in tandem with technological advancements, market demand, and without compromising syariah compliance. Here's to a bright and prosperous year ahead, where halal is embraced and nurtured as it evolves with the ever changing world. Shout out to a taxing, yet fulfilling 2024! #halal #halalcosmetics
