Thank you, Divergent and Czinger Vehicles veterans, for your service. Yesterday, November 10th, was the birthay of the United States Marine Corps. It reminded me of my service as an enlisted infantry rifleman in the Marine Corps Reserves. I will never forget my Senior Drill Instructor, (then) Staff Sergeant Robert Romero, at Parris Island. The lessons I learned there left an indelible mark on the rest of my life. The 11 USMC leadership principles include: 1.Know yourself and seek self-improvement. 2.Be technically and tactically proficient. 3.Know your people and look out for their welfare. 4.Keep your personnel informed. 5.Set the example. 6.Ensure the task is understood, supervised, and accomplished. 7.Train your Marines (and Sailors) as a team. 8.Make sound and timely decisions. 9.Develop a sense of responsibility among your subordinates. 10.Employ your command within its capabilities. 11.Seek responsibilities and take responsibility. Marines exist by a set of enduring core values and standards that create the bedrock of personal character. Semper Fi

????The paradox of technological progress is that while it was meant to improve lives, create prosperity, and foster equality, it has often been weaponized to entrench power structures and exacerbate inequalities… ????The two World Wars should have been enough to teach humanity the cost of unchecked militarization and the prioritization of power over people… ????The slogan “NEVER AGAIN” was supposed to be a universal lesson, a commitment to ensuring that the horrors of war and mass destruction would not repeat… ????Yet, despite the lessons of history, technology has been harnessed not to uplift humanity as a whole, but to deepen the divides between the privileged and the oppressed… ????The same mass production that once won wars is now used to manufacture weapons that perpetuate endless conflicts, maintain economic disparities, and serve the interests of a select few at the cost of many… ????Instead of eradicating poverty, technological advancements are often exploited to reinforce economic control, surveillance, and environmental destruction… ????The issue is not technology itself, but the systems that govern its use… ????The powerful have continuously used innovation as a tool of domination rather than liberation !!!… ????The world is not unlivable because of technology, it is unlivable because of those who wield it without ethics, mercy, compassion, or a sense of shared humanity !… ?????Until there is a fundamental shift in how power is distributed and how technological progress is directed, we risk repeating the very mistakes we vowed to never allow again !!!..,
Military Historia; WW II was won in factories, not just on the frontlines. Ford built bombers. Kaiser built ships faster than anyone imagined. Boeing changed the skies forever. Here’s how mass production won the war—and reshaped the modern world...

Today we have announced the ramp up of our UK-based armoured vehicle assembly and integration capabilities. “James Kempston, our CEO, commented: “We’re very pleased indeed to announce the ramp up of our UK-based armoured vehicle assembly and integration capabilities. ‘So, what’s next?’ is an obvious question for most people to ask post-acquisition, and I’m proud to say that we’re progressing at our expected pace. Since the acquisition in June 2024, we’ve taken the time to get things right and the talent we’ve secured has given us the critical foundations upon which to provide quality services to a global customer base.” He added: “going forward, our priority remains the delivery of the key contracts we’ve secured whist at the same time, demonstrating to a wider global audience including International OEMs, that NP Aerospace is the UK-based vehicle system assembly, integration and support partner of choice”. This announcement coincides with The International Armoured Vehicles conference taking place in Farnborough, UK, 21-23 January 2025. Please reach out to [email protected] if you'd like to book a meeting with the team attending. Celebrating One Year with American Rheinmetall Vehicles, LLC! It’s hard to believe that it’s already been a year since I joined the team at American Rheinmetall Vehicles. Looking back, I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of a company that not only values innovation and growth but, more importantly, truly cares about its employees. In the time I’ve been here, ARV has grown exponentially, solidifying its position as a serious threat to the status quo in the military ground vehicle industry. One of the most exciting developments thus far has been our acquisition of LOC Performance. This strategic move is key in supporting future business ventures, allowing us to deliver the very best products for our customers and, ultimately, for the men and women who serve in our armed forces. As a former Marine who served four combat tours in Iraq, I know firsthand how critical it is to have equipment that you can trust when you’re in harm’s way. It’s one of the many reasons I’m so proud to be working for a company that is dedicated to creating advanced, reliable vehicles for our soldiers—vehicles that help keep them safe and support their missions. It’s an honor to be part of a company that shares my passion for serving those who serve. If you’re looking for a place where you can grow professionally while contributing to something bigger, I can’t recommend ARV enough. #Veterans #DefenseIndustry #ARV #AmericanRheinmetall #MilitaryTech #LOCPerformance #ProudToServe #Growth

Few experiences inspire awe like watching the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds soar through the sky. These elite teams showcase the pinnacle of aviation skill, constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the air. With jaw-dropping precision, their pilots fly just inches apart at over 700 miles per hour. This powerful display of discipline, teamwork, and rigorous training goes beyond a mere spectacle—it’s a lesson in human potential and the heights achievable through relentless dedication. You don’t just watch planes fly—you witness the mastery of flight itself. In a time of division, air shows featuring these teams unite people. They remind us of the sacrifices made by the men and women of our armed forces, who work tirelessly to safeguard our freedoms. As the jets roar overhead, they symbolize national pride, bringing veterans, military families, and civilians together in shared awe. For young viewers, these shows can spark life-changing inspiration. Watching these jets perform can ignite a passion for aviation, engineering, or military service, proving that with hard work and dedication, the sky is truly the limit. For some, this moment of inspiration sets them on a path toward a career in aviation or defense, seeing firsthand what’s possible through the achievements of these pilots. The visceral power of jet engines tearing through the sky goes beyond visuals—the rumble and sonic boom create an experience you feel. It’s a sensation that can’t be fully captured on a screen and must be experienced in person to be truly understood. Beyond the spectacle, these performances remind us of the real-world risks and capabilities that define military operations. Watching these pilots offers a glimpse into the precision and skill required to maintain national security, underscoring the serious stakes that protect our everyday freedoms. Amid life’s distractions, watching the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds provides a rare chance to witness extraordinary human achievement. It’s a powerful reminder that incredible things are possible when we make time to appreciate the skill, dedication, and commitment behind protecting our way of life. VA Benefits GOING AWAY??? I’ve seen a pretty large UPTICK in veterans discussing ‘non-combat’ veterans being rated vs ‘combat’ veterans being rated…*sigh* And to be clear…’combat’ veterans being does not include those in the rear with the gear. Discussed here: https://lnkd.in/drR8srkf I hate this topic. There are 3 requirements for service connection; 1: In-service event 2: Current dx 3: Nexus It’s not the Big 4; 1: In-service event 2: Current dx 3: Nexus 4: Combat

“If you look at the history of U.S. Army procurements, a lot of past rotorcraft – almost every one of them in fact – has gone through that phase where they basically have to change the design late in the game. That drags out acquisition programs, which can really delay the fielding of new vehicles. What we’re trying to do is develop a way to computationally model the detailed high fidelity behavior earlier so that we can predict it ahead of time, before they actually build a vehicle to go and flight test.” Dr. Andrew Wissink #TechTuesday | #WeAreAvMC

Military vehicles have become an order of magnitude heavier despite Army efforts to reduce weight. Capability wins over weight or efficiency. Increases in performance, materials, and efficiency almost always feed SWAPc trades rather than actually reducing weight. Note the two vehicles out of alignment on both rows. Those were deliberate efforts focused on decreasing weight for intertheater mobility (MRZR and Stryker). Note also the Stryker program gave up on its original target weight for C-130 mobility.
