This was really cool.
Last week, Bridgestone Mobility Solutions welcomed customers and 5 selected startups for a day of diving deep into carefully identified challenges and opportunities, and to explore the power of partnerships.
The rooms were alive, and wow this was a challenging audience. Executives across sales, product, tech and data knew exactly what their customers wanted, understood the market and technology changes, and challenged us deeply and in ways that we even took notes on our own product. Growth on speed by blending knowledge between two different worlds, sharing the same goal - meet customer needs now and in the future.
It went from - "Yes we have that, let me tell you how" - to - "Wait, I didn't think about that, can you tell me how? Can you tell me why?"
Bridgestone is the the largest manufacturer of tires globally, is active in 150 countries, and via Webfleet serve over 1.5 million vehicles with telematic solutions to aid a more efficient and productive fleet. The event drove the narrative of sustainability within the fleet industry. We had an opportunity to share ideas, engage in valuable conversations and of course hear innovative solutions to enhance sustainability in fleets from the invited startups ??
