“The cleanest and cheapest fuel is the one you don't need!” ?? ? The co-founders of Telp, Matthias Reber and Urs R?thlisberger, developed an element to attach to trucks in order to reduce turbulences and thus, save fuel and CO2-emissions. It was that exact process of developing the element and bringing it to the market that inspired them to found their own business. ? Their biggest learning so far has been to test the product with multiple transport companies and to find that there have been no risks detected. The additional value of using the element is measurable and the team now wants to establish new relations to transport companies to enhance the popularity of their product. ?? ? Last week, Bridgestone Mobility Solutions welcomed customers and 5 selected startups for a day of diving deep into carefully identified challenges and opportunities, and to explore the power of partnerships. The rooms were alive, and wow this was a challenging audience. Executives across sales, product, tech and data knew exactly what their customers wanted, understood the market and technology changes, and challenged us deeply and in ways that we even took notes on our own product. Growth on speed by blending knowledge between two different worlds, sharing the same goal - meet customer needs now and in the future. It went from - "Yes we have that, let me tell you how" - to - "Wait, I didn't think about that, can you tell me how? Can you tell me why?" ??[MEET THE FOUNDERS] Since the beginning of January, we have been supporting 39 innovative projects developed by start-ups and employees of the vinci group as part of one of our four incubation and acceleration programs. For the past two weeks, we have been presenting you portraits of the entrepreneurs from the 2024 cohorts. Today, discover Alex Moube, president of the start-up GEOCLAY. Geoclay - solutions bas carbone uses clays as raw materials, which release water molecules during firing instead of CO2. Geoclay offers a flash calcination process for clays that reduces carbon emissions by a factor of 4 compared with a conventional process. This process preserves natural resources, since it uses mainly alternative clays from recycling channels.
