Over the last couple years we've seen a big uptick in 'Executive Showcases.' Exclusive sessions tailored for decision-makers, often coinciding with events they're already planning to attend - think Super Bowl, US Open, Cannes. Typically, the goal is depth rather than breadth: deep dives around the prospects' specific challenges, usually themed to the event itself, but always guiding attendees through solutions in a very hands-on manner. They're also often created as modular concepts making the experiences easy to adapt and expand for new opportunities or target markets - and this also means lower threshold to entry and scaling only if/when the next event is locked in which makes the clients happy.?)) Lately, I often wonder: Why don't more brands seize the opportunity to drive growth through effective on-premise events, especially post-COVID? It seems like a significant missed opportunity. From my experience, organizing top-tier events and promotions on-premise can not only boost your brand's visibility but also forge lasting connections with consumers. Based on my experiences, here are some strategies that have proven effective: Align With Your Brand Story: Ensure every aspect of the event—from the theme to account product fit—reflects your brand’s core message and values. This alignment makes the experience authentic and builds quality brand engagement. Engage and Educate: Use well-designed menu cards and point-of-sale materials that align with your brand story to captivate consumers. This turns a simple tasting or promotion into a storytelling session that builds real brand loyalty. Create Mutual Value: Create promotions that benefit both your brand and the account. This could mean driving higher traffic during slow hours, offering exclusive products that excite patrons and keep them coming back, or equipping the staff with next-level product knowledge. I believe that with a little creativity and strategic planning, on-premise events can be a game-changer for many brands.
