Grateful will fall short to represent how I feel after this 3-days experience to explore, engage & commit to act to shape the future of Sanofi. But the road is paved with challenges in an environment changing faster than ever, powered by IA spreading at light speed as a tsunami we are learning to surf while it shifts our current paradigms in weeks, patients are empowered & expecting more from our industry & our mission is bold. Diversity and inclusion is deeply embedded in our people processes at Genentech. As we share in our latest D&I Annual Report, 100% of Officers submitted Officer Action Plans in 2023, making transparent personal commitments to advance diversity, equity and inclusion within their teams, our industry, and the communities we serve. We also saw 63% of our people managers (up from 49% in 2022) make progress toward or complete their Manager Belonging Goals, which encourage inclusive behavior. Our equitable policies and practices also support an increasingly diverse workforce. Genentech has no effective gender or racial pay gaps among employees, and women make up over half of our leadership roles (55.7% in extended leadership, 52.5% in Director or Officer roles). We’ve also seen an overall increase in leadership representation among Asian, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx and multiracial employees over the last year.
