The operator remains unnamed for a $5 billion data center complex in Louisiana (too much redaction in those filings!), but Entergy Louisiana plans to build 1,500 MW of gas-fired generation at the site near Holly Ridge, along with a separate 754-MW gas-fired plant in the southern part of the state. You'll see a lot about nuclear energy powering data centers, and that's a trend for the future, but natural gas is going to be a big winner in the shorter term when it comes to investments in power generation for energy-intensive AI and data storage. https://lnkd.in/g_43Yzpy
