Philanthropy Intern at Faunalytics ? Volunteer Grant Writer at Canine Adoption and Rescue League
As my philanthropy internship comes to an end, I wanted to reflect on my unforgettable experience as part of the Faunalytics team! From soliciting sponsorships for Fauna Connections to building my CRM knowledge, I've received invaluable experiential training in multiple fundraising disciplines. Going into the internship, I only had a background in grant writing—but now I feel confident that the skills I've learned have further confirmed my passion for pursing a career within fundraising. The internship program also contributed to the development of my animal advocacy. I'm thrilled to say I recently received the certificate confirming my completion of the the Animal Advocacy Careers Introduction to Animal Advocacy course, which was such an enlightening resource! As I grow as a professional within the animal protection movement, I am eternally grateful for the support that Faunalytics has provided me with. I'd like to especially thank Liz Wheeler for her fantastic, compassionate leadership and her undying willingness to always help me develop as an individual. A special shoutout to Brooke Haggerty and Emily MacNintch, who were also instrumental in my success this summer. I can never tell you all how much you have made an impact on me! Lastly, I'd love to highlight the exceptional team at Faunalytics, who were some of the most welcoming, warmhearted, and passionate individuals I've ever had the pleasure of working alongside. I cannot wait to see what you all accomplish, and I hope our paths continue to cross.
