Remember when you were a kid and whined that you were SO BORED? ?? I do, and I also recall my mom’s response: go outside and do something. Granted, those were the pre-cell phone days when a kid could literally be out playing until the street lights came on, but the gist of my mom’s message is still spot-on: if you’re not happy about your current situation, don’t complain; do something about it. ?? Yet there is a myriad of reasons why we don’t: ?? It’s not a “good time.” ?? Things aren’t *that* bad. ?? We don’t want to rock the boat. So instead, we choose to exist in a suboptimal state of acceptance/denial.??♀? Friends, that’s no way to live — or have a fulfilling career.?
