BATTERIES: Commercially available #silicone anode #battery platform introduced by Amprius Technologies, Inc. Technologies #Amprius Technologies is expanding its portfolio of silicon anode batteries aimed at transforming #electricmobility with the introduction of its #SiCore product platform. The company has also branded its existing silicon nanowire platform #SiMaxx with its current product range of up to 500Wh/kg and 1,300Wh/L energy density. SiCore batteries use a proprietary silicon anode material system, offering high-energy-density #siliconanode batteries that, Amprius states, outperform current graphite cell performance. The new silicon anode cell chemistry has been designed to offer high energy density of up to 400Wh/kg and an extended cycle life of up to 1,200 cycles at full depth of discharge.
