You know when your workplace culture isn't where you want it to be. You tell yourself it's fine, but the reality is, you end up spending more time resolving people issues than innovating for your customers. This can be exhausting for any CEO or owner. In reality, many of us can easily recognize the signs of a toxic workplace culture: ?? Lack of clarity around roles and responsibilities. ?? Different employees and separate teams pursuing very different priorities. ?? “Ghosting” or other passive-aggressive communication. ?? Fear of sharing your best ideas. ?? Departments looking out for themselves. ?? Where getting a promotion is more about who you know than what you know or the character you display. But a culture change isn’t a defensive move. It’s your competitive advantage. Organizations who embark on this transformative work can expect: ? More fulfilled leaders (think about going home every night and feeling great about what you do, and more importantly, what you do for others). ? More loved employees (people have amazing potential sitting within them. When you share love, you unlock greatness? ? A higher-performing team (?? What if every person on your team knew what their strengths were, were encouraged to use and share them, and also celebrated the strengths of everyone else. What might that future look like for your company?) Transformation is positively powerful, agree? #leadership #culture #change #transformation

Company culture is just as important as the bottom line. If you have a toxic culture, you'll lose. People are the driving force behind your business. Creating a positive and empowering culture is essential for success. You need to understand what your employees want deeply. Constantly adapt to their needs and desires. For instance, an employee might want higher pay at 24. But at 28, they might want more family time. Another might seek a prestigious title. Someone else might want direct access to leadership. Another might want to work in an international office. There are countless variables, and as a leader, you must adjust to these changing realities. Culture isn't something you can just put on a wall and forget. A strong culture is built through consistent actions and decisions. You either care about your culture because you truly understand it, or you just say it because it looks good and focus only on short-term gains. Don't underestimate the power of investing in your employees. It's not just the right thing to do; it's also a smart business move. #CompanyCulture #Leadership #EmployeeEngagement #BusinessSuccess #InvestInPeople

?? “I feel like I’m just a small part of a big machine.” I was talking to a friend recently when he mentioned feeling like a nameless, faceless cog in the vast machine of his employer. We’d been discussing how, in my career, I’ve witnessed the process of organizations shifting their mindset. Before, they believed controlling their employees ensured their productivity. I helped them see that unleashing employees’ potential would guarantee their productivity. This small mindset shift made a HUGE difference for the individuals working for these companies and for the company’s performance. My friend recognized this and wanted to know how he could do the same for his colleagues and his company. ?? “I want to change the company culture, but I don’t even interact with our CEO. What can I do?” Here’s what I told him ?? ?? Start with what you can influence: your team. Focus on the environment you can control, implement the changes you want to see, and deliver on your promises. Creating a nurturing and collaborative culture for your team will unleash their potential. The value of this culture will show in their performance. ?? Joy and outstanding performance are contagious. Your colleagues will notice and follow your lead. Team members who move on will carry this culture forward to their teams. Culture is the foundation on which people base their behaviour. The business model for culture isn’t so different from life. Organizations must turn it into a methodology to ensure consistency and credibility. ?? Human thoughts and emotions are an engine for power. When you unleash human emotions, you create a sense of belonging. That sense of belonging powers the business and drives its success. #CEO #leadership #management #WorkplaceCulture

How workplace culture shapes success through the power of words. I've always believed that the words we use have a profound impact on our environment. This is especially true in the workplace. I've seen firsthand how the right words can foster a positive and productive culture, while the wrong ones can create a toxic and draining atmosphere. In a healthy work environment, you'll often hear phrases that reflect: >>Trust: "I trust your judgment." >>Growth: "How can we support your development?" >>Respect: "I appreciate your perspective." >>Recognition: "Thank you for your hard work." These phrases create a sense of belonging and empower individuals to thrive. They encourage collaboration, innovation, and a shared sense of purpose. As leaders, it's our responsibility to choose our words carefully. Let's use our words to build trust, empower our teams, and inspire greatness. What are some phrases you've heard in the workplace that have created a positive or negative impact? Share your experiences in the comments below. . . . #workplaceculture #leadership #teamwork #motivation #positiveimpact #OntogenDigital #riseconquer

???????? ???? ?????????????????? ??????????????? ????????’?? ??????, ?????????????? ???????????????? ?????? ???????? ?????? ???????? ???????? ???????? ???????? ???? ?????? ?????? ???? ?????? ??????—?????????????? ???? ????????????????? Too many leaders believe that changing workplace culture requires endless resources or monumental shifts. But here’s the truth: the most effective culture transformations often cost little to no money, take minimal time, and require less energy than you think. Imagine this: ?? A senior leader sends a handwritten thank-you note to an employee who went above and beyond. ?? A team lead dedicates the first two minutes of every meeting to ask,?“What’s one small thing we can do better as a team?” ?? A department head shares one story of vulnerability—an early failure that became a stepping stone. The results? Teams feel valued, heard, and understood. Trust grows. Engagement skyrockets. Culture shifts. Sometimes, you don’t need a fancy strategy. You need?intentionality. Here are 3 ways to get started today: 1.?Publicly recognize effort, not just results. People crave acknowledgment. A simple “I saw how much effort you put into this project, and it didn’t go unnoticed” goes a long way. 2.?Random acts of appreciation. Sticky notes, a quick thank-you email, or an unprompted “You’re doing great” message—all free, all transformational. 3.?Ask questions, then listen. Skip the answers; invite your team to co-create the solutions. One powerful question:?“What would make this the kind of workplace you never want to leave?” Culture change doesn’t have to be complicated. Start small, start today. Your team will thank you for it. Over to you now. What’s one small, zero-cost action you can take today to make your team feel seen and appreciated? Start the conversation—share your favorite low-cost leadership action in the comments or tag someone who leads with heart. The culture of any organization is shaped by the worst behavior the leader is willing to tolerate. When toxic employees' negative behaviors are tolerated, it can have a hugely detrimental effect on the company's culture, decrease collaboration between teams, affect how customers are treated, and so much more. People in leadership positions often look for a quick fix, but it's not that simple. It's easy to blame the hiring process or one employee, but unfortunately, the buck stops with you as the person sitting in the leadership position. You need to take full responsibility for the low morale of your department or organization and urgently address the situation before all the good employees leave and the toxic remains.
