Have you heard the term 'Gym Bros' before? When I first started working out, I had no idea what ‘gym bros’ meant. I used to go to the gym with my headphones on. Start with cardio and then jump into my workout. But over time, I met some incredible guys. We became friends, and that’s when I understood what ‘gym bros’ means. Sometimes, I’d lose motivation even with my music on and get tired early. Now, I have people who push me to go the extra mile. In short, ‘gym bros’ are the support system you need in life. I used to lift only what I could manage. Now, I lift more because I know there’s someone ready to spot me when I need it. These are people who push you to take that extra step and it’s always worth it. People who help you with your weight, and you help them with theirs. People who support you through heavy days when the burden feels too much. And people who show up for you, and you show up for them. Building that has made me feel stronger and more motivated. The same thing applies here on LinkedIn. If you’re here every day, build a community that becomes your ‘gym bros.’ Show up consistently, support others, and the rest will fall into place. ?? Kids back to school... How are you feeling about that? ?? As much as we cherish every moment with our kids, keeping up with their boundless energy can be a challenge. (Plus a golf course is more my style!) It's moments like these that make us realise we can't always keep pace like we used to. This realisation often sparks thoughts about what we can do to change—how we can adjust our lifestyles to be as fit and healthy as possible for our children. Everyone should work out early in the morning. You are not alone if you have made a New Year's resolution to wake up early and hit the gym. Every year many plan to develop a habit of working out, but the motivation fizzles out eventually. In my 3rd newsletter, I elaborate more upon this: ?
