One exciting event follows the next one this week ??. Earlier the week the intercharge network conference 2024 and tomorrow we finally have the webinar about the grid situation in the Netherlands and potential solutions for charge point operators. I was eagerly awaiting this for a long time. The grid situation in the Netherlands is a great study case for what's to come in other European countries. And for FLEXECHARGE, it's great to be able to help our Dutch customers with technologies to overcome bottlenecks for charging infrastructure rollout, while at the same time learn for challenges yet to come in other countries. The first sentence in the report says it all, "Having no grid capacity on high- and medium-voltage electricity networks seems to be the new normal in the Netherlands." Interesting to read the first edition of the Energy-Storage.news Report highlighting how grid-scale deploymenst will soar in 2024! Bias view/hot take: Energy is the single greatest domain where the commercial market can enable national security. Full stop. So great to see Doug articulate the incredible work done by so few in such a short period of time. IMO Benjamin Richardson and Andrew Higier Ph.D. Built the single greatest capability multiplier in tech and it’s not talked about enough. Big kudos to the builders: Doug French Dan Nidess Jack Ryan Matt Palumbo Marshall Witkowski Heath Morrison and all the other 30+ people in the energy portfolio.
