As I reflect on the past year, it’s impossible not to feel a profound sense of gratitude and accomplishment. This year has tested businesses and industries worldwide, automotive not excluded. Challenges have come in ways that demanded resilience and ingenuity. It was a year of transformation—an evolution of ideas, partnerships, and solutions that are reshaping our shared future. ? In 2024, SDVs became the focal point of this transformation. The need for clarity and structure in navigating this complex space led to our creation of an ?????? ???????????? ???????????????????????????? ????????????. With six distinct levels, this framework provides the automotive industry with a much-needed roadmap for advancing SDV development effectively. By addressing practical steps for each evolutionary stage, it has brought cohesion to a critical and ongoing debate. ? Our ???????????????????? ???? ???????????????????? remained strong throughout the year: ?? We had the honor of supporting groundbreaking advancements like AFEELA by Sony Honda Mobility—a vehicle built around a “software-first” vision—and we witnessed how this philosophy can transform mobility. ?? We also introduced EB corbos Linux for Safety Applications, the world’s first open-source OS solution compliant with automotive functional safety standards. Recognized as an honoree in Vehicle Tech & Advanced Mobility at #CES2025, it delivers unparalleled speed, flexibility, and cost savings, enabling carmakers to develop safer, smarter vehicles. ? Through every challenge, ?????????????????????????? ???????????? ???? ???? ?????? ?????????????????? ??????????. ?? Whether it was demonstrating the potential of generative AI at Hannover Messe, ??? driving innovation in SDV development through partnerships with AWS, or ???? empowering developers at the Eclipse Foundation SDV Hackathon, we achieved success together. These collective efforts underscore a simple but vital truth: transformation is not achieved alone. ? As the year closes, I am inspired by what we’ve accomplished as a team and as an industry. The 100-meter sprint timing difference of 0.81 seconds over a century may seem small, but it carries significant implications. This progress reflects human determination, innovation, and relentless pursuit of excellence. Comparing this to the progress of computer technology, the pace is vastly different. Moore’s Law predicts that computing power doubles approximately every 18 months. In the same 100-year span, computers have evolved from room-sized machines to pocket-sized smartphones, with exponential growth in processing speed, memory, and capabilities. Sprinting improvements benefit from targeted training, biomechanics, and optimized gear (shoes, tracks) that enhance performance. Computer technology advances through collective efforts, research, and competition among companies, leading to rapid breakthroughs. The small timing difference reminds us that consistent, incremental efforts compound over time. Whether in sports or technology, progress results from dedication, adaptation, and pushing boundaries. In essence, both human sprinting and computer technology exemplify the power of gradual improvement. Another very important thing to note is the prowess of collective human mind which is much more powerful than that of the individual body. It's estimated that we only use about 10% of our brain's potential. However, this figure is more of a metaphor than a scientifically proven fact. The idea is that we have vast reserves of cognitive abilities, creativity, and intelligence that remain untapped. Some of the ways to increase more use of mental power is to meditate, consistent reading and learning, practice creative thinking and regular exercise with optimum nutrition.
