Mizzou researchers often create companies based on their discoveries. Kremenak NanoTech, Inc. is an early-stage startup company that's developing a cutting-edge cold pasteurizer system for the beverage production industry. The Missouri Innovation Center has space, services and resources to help researchers navigate the business world. Jesse Kremenak, PhD felt fortunate to find the right kind of laboratory space in the incubator when he founded his company. "At the time, other comparable laboratory spaces across the country had prohibitively long wait lists and high rent," he says. "MIC's mentorship services have been instrumental in helping us with business planning and securing critical investment capital." The momentum at Hult Founders Lab is truly building! ?? Following the exciting 2024/2025 cohort launch, the winning teams and all participants are now diving deeper into refining their ideas and building out their strategies. Over the coming weeks, they’ll further define their business plans, conduct market research, and work closely with mentors to bring their visions to life. Together with my colleague Daniel Rukare, I will guide this next phase with workshops and personalized feedback sessions to help students navigate challenges and seize opportunities. It's inspiring to see the progress each team is making and how committed they are to solving real-world issues through #innovation.
