Criteria: Must be a regional non-profit in Morris County, NJ. Should be a legitimate 501c3 organization registered with the NJ Dept. of Consumer Affairs, Charity Navigator or GuideStar. Must have a website to test. Should have a low bureaucratic barrier to entry in order to avoid time-consuming multi-layered approval process. Consider locally hosted site in order to avoid third party issues (e.g., cloud providers) Consider veterans, food insecurity, health & human services, animal rescue & other organizations based on feedback from Team. Next Steps: Obtain approval on suggested non-profits from Team. Review/finalize letter to non-profits about Hackers for Charity.
