COMMUNICATION IN SALES MANAGEMENT. Communication plays a big role in determining whether a sale will successfully be made or not. First impressions can never be taken lightly. The commonly used modes of communication are; Face to face engagements, Phone communication and messaging (encompasses emails, whatsaap text messages,etc). The following are little things we need to look out for in our engagements with clients 1. FACE TO FACE COMMUNICATION * Dress appropriately * Ensure that the work space is tidy * Mind your body language (engage with the client) *Have good product knowledge. 2. TELESALES (PHONE COMMUNICATION) * Be very audible * Be courteous * Speak professionally (use the official language and avoid jargon, slang or abbreviations) * Have good product knowledge 3. TEXT MESSAGING (EMAILS ,TEXT MESSAGES AND SOCIAL MEDIA) * Use correct English * Ensure that your punctuation and sentence construction is correct. * Be careful with the information you are giving out as it has great potential to backfire.
