Many engineers need help implementing standardised measurements in practice, and so do I. After all, the limit values to be observed are specified in a thick standardisation paper and are not always easy to implement in terms of measurement technology. The solution presented here by Peter Schreiweis offers customers a simple way of carrying out measurements by standards and getting automated at the end with the necessary documentation. The specifications from #ISO3095 and #ISO3381 are considered in the software application, and the customer only has to select the appropriate test parameters during setup, guided by wizards. When combined with #microphones from GRAS Sound & Vibration and imc Test & Measurement #DAQ technology like ARGUSfit and the imc #WAVE #software, the solution becomes comprehensive. It enables customers to handle the entire measurement task from a single source, without requiring any knowledge of programming.
