One thing I appreciate most about our philosophy is the fact that relapse in and of itself does not automatically constitute an administrative discharge from our program but, highlights the need to address other factors in a higher level of care internally. It’s our job to re-create a healthy family system for our clients and foster an environment of secure attachment.

Leaders from The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, ECU Health, and across North Carolina gathered for the groundbreaking of the Center for Medical Education Building, which will help grow Brody's class size to over 120, training more physicians for eastern North Carolina and rural communities. “With this building, the state of North Carolina is affirming that rural medical education and health care matters, and that Brody has lived its mission and can solve these complex issues that rural health care faces,” said Dr. Michael Waldrum, chief executive officer of ECU Health and dean of Brody.
