Laser ablation: Why the removing of different coatings is essential in battery production – and how the TruMicro 7000 makes it easy ?? De-coating with a pulsed (nanosecond) laser is an ablative process where coatings are heated by absorbed laser energy, causing evaporation or sublimation. In battery production, CDP (Cathodic Dip Coating) on battery covers or dielectric UV coatings on battery cells can be removed completely or selectively with lasers to enable further processing. Technology introduction: JetDisk The jetDisk is located behind the impeller, and reduces clogging problems at that location and at the mechanical seal. Thespecial geometry of the JetDisk directs a centrifuged portionof the recirculating flow into the space between the impellerand backplate to provide a flushing effect. Litz wire is a pain to wind. Fragile, changes shape, wonders on the bobbin. I gave up trying to machine wind this and hand wound it instead. This will be up for testing today to judge it's effectiveness against similar sized solid wire coils. It should in theory flow more current and make more magnetic flux when pulsed due to proximity and skin effect improvement. If so, I'll really want to see about creating a jig to make flat coils as using litz coils for production doesn't seem at all practical.
