Calling on the Philanthropic Community for support and the chance to join your giving strategy! Alzheimer's Caregiving & The Caregivers, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, was founded by Tony, a devoted husband to an Alzheimer's patient. With his background in corporate leadership, Tony approached Caregiving as if he were launching a business, aiming to create the best environment for his beloved wife and himself as the Caregiver. However, he quickly realized the overwhelming amount of information available with every Google search. After sifting through countless products, podcasts, books, scientific studies, medical and legal options, Tony identified four crucial areas every Caregiver needs to navigate. Realizing the value of his years of research, he transformed it into a resource accessible to all Caregivers. The result? A website plus YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook channels with one mission: to serve Caregivers. Help us sustain this invaluable resource! #philanthropy #CorporateSocialResponsibility #givingback

As social marketers, we’re always looking out for evidence-based behavioral change campaigns. Earlier this year, the Oregon Health Authority partnered with a national non-profit, Song for Charlie, to launch a campaign to educate state residents about fentanyl risks, harm reduction strategies, and how to respond to overdoses. Oregon has the fifth-worst per capita rate of drug deaths among teenagers, and this campaign aimed to change that by encouraging parents to have ongoing conversations with young people. Learn more about this powerful, evidence-based campaign today: https://lnkd.in/eSc6q-8f #thenewdrugtalk #SongForCharlie #fentanylchangeseverything #socialmarketing

Exactly 12 years ago, I received a call about my sister-in-law passed???????? away due to complications from childbirth. The person I just spoke to hours before with no issues, problems. WHAT? This tragedy was preventable, and no Black woman should face such a fate. WHY I’m passionate about what I do and bridging the gaps in my black communities. THIS IS MY WHY! The maternal mortality rate for Black women is disproportionately high, reflecting systemic issues in our healthcare system. It's imperative that we address these disparities and ensure that every woman receives the quality care she deserves. Let's advocate for: ?Improved Access to Quality Healthcare: Ensuring comprehensive prenatal and postnatal care for all women. ?Addressing Bias in Healthcare: Training providers to recognize and mitigate implicit biases. ?Community Support: Building strong support networks and resources for pregnant women. ?Health Education: Empowering women to advocate for themselves and understand potential complications. ?Policy Changes: Supporting policies that tackle healthcare disparities and improve maternal health outcomes. We all have a role to play in driving these changes. Together, we can prevent such tragedies and save lives. I AM THE VOICE FOR THE VOICELESS. Happy Birthday Mary! #projectMary #MaternalHealth #HealthEquity #BlackMaternalHealth #HealthcareReform #civicengagement @highlight Global Ubuntu Impact Foundation www.ubuntuimpact.org
