This past year has been a journey of growth and transformation for me as a founder of AMUSED - Ecommerce Platform Connecting Buyers and Sellers to Authenticated Preowned Luxury Fashion. My initial ideas about building a business—big budgets and huge teams—have completely shifted. I’m filled with anticipation as I look forward to the strides I’m ready to make beyond last year’s achievements. One thing I’ve learned, especially as a Virtual Assistant (and an assistant in every sense), is the importance of looking back. Taking time to reflect—on what worked, what didn’t, and how to improve—sets the tone for moving forward. This is the power of evaluation. Properly documenting the past—reviewing what went well and what didn’t—is essential for refiring with renewed focus. A memorable experience from last year was working on end-of-year reviews as part of a team (evaluation and planning). Reflecting on achievements, challenges, and recommendations sharpened my ability to ask the “why” behind every step. It refined my perspective and further fueled my passion for learning and growth. This year, I’m embracing resilience, a skill honed through last year’s setbacks. Obstacles now feel less like roadblocks and more like stepping stones toward greatness.
