The second edition of the Leuven Protein Aggregation Meeting has come to a close, and what a fantastic experience it’s been! We had the pleasure of reconnecting with old friends, meeting new faces, and getting the latest insights from the cutting edge of amyloid research—covering everything from fundamental biophysics to clinical breakthroughs. Highlights included discussions on the dynamic states of protein aggregation, a deep dive into fibril structures, and mastering the pronunciation of ?? SH-SY5Y. A huge thank you to Hannah Wilkinson and the Switch Lab team for organising such an outstanding event and for having us.
