??In celebration of Mental Helath Awareness Month meet Patric Hernandez, PMP, MPA, PhD ALPFA San Antonio VP of Corporate Development as he shares insights of mental health and it's importance. Patric Hernandez completed his PhD on General Anxiety and Depression over a decade ago, during a time when discussions surrounding mental health and self-care were still relatively new. Back then, the acknowledgment of mental health care within minority groups and women was even more limited. The individual expresses great joy in the current focus and dialogue on Mental Health Awareness within ALPFA. Emphasizing the importance of supporting one another and enhancing the community's well-being in the professional realm, he underscores the need to continue spreading the message of Mental Health Awareness. Encouraging the creation of non-judgmental spaces to identify when self-care and medical interventions are necessary, he takes pride in being a part of an ALPFA organization and chapter that champions mental health within the community.
