Today, I attended my first Compudopt Digital Life Fair! We helped connnect nearly 100 households to local digital services by distributing laptops and providing free internet for a year! A huge thank you to our partner, Alliant Credit Union, particularly the Foundation Board Members who came eager to volunteer - Janet Meinheit, Jackie Gruenes, PMP, Kathleen Swift. Plus the ?? incredible community partners in Elk Grove Village who joined us to share valuable digital services with families. It was so encouraging to see the community come together. As an added bonus, I “got” to bring my son along – sometimes the nonprofit life means serving the community while serving my family too! ??
