Amazing to see and feel the incredible collaboration happening in these communities with youth at the center! This is the GOOD NEWS we need right now.
Still so happy about everything from this day! Thank you so much Daniel W. Hatcher and Sean Brock for joining us. Very Excited as we go through the next year in partnership with Alliance for a Healthier Generation. As for my advice on how to be an ally to youth leaders here is a start: Trust, Support, and Patience and Celebrations: Trust students to lead. Allow them to struggle and learn. Set them up for success. Provide necessary supports. Don't ask too much too soon. Be their biggest cheerleader.
