How does the AMG's plan to fire all of the meteorologists from local TV stations and consolidation all weather reporting through the Weather Channel help with the California wildfires?
Reaching out to all of the 2025 National Pro-Am Tournament teams in LA. Stay safe and hope to see you all in Las Vegas in May .
What is the plan for the communities impacted by the layoffs of the local weathermen. The weather channel won’t be the one at 1am in the station with feet on the ground telling us that live in rural areas we need to seek shelter. Allen media though I’m sure you’ll be around to report on the destruction that happens afterwards. What a poor decision based solely off of greed.
Local Now, which Allen Media Group owns, is also carrying live broadcasts from local TV stations in Southern California.
Appreciate Allen Media Group’s support for the community and recognition of the first responders' efforts. These are tough times, and messages like this remind us of the importance of coming together. Stay safe!

1 个月Local meteorologists provide so much to their communities beyond just weather forecasting. The fact that Allen Media Group is willing to put millions of lives in direct danger due to its decision to fire and/or layoff over 100 local meteorologists is simply unacceptable. It's time to "man up," Mr. Allen, and change the direction you are taking our local communities in.
