?? I was nervous/excited about leaving my 4-year career in furniture sales to venture back into car sales! My last car sales job was an experience I wouldn't want anyone to endure. I remember just having another child, my girlfriend going on leave with no pay, and relying solely on my income to provide for three kids. I trained, studied, and had confidence from my prior success in car sales, but the new environment with 70 more salespeople was overwhelming. That situation drained my savings, brought eviction notices, and shook my confidence. ?? Despite the struggles, I'm grateful for the resilience and faith I gained. This morning, as I sat at my new desk, I wondered if I was in for another hard road. But then I remembered it's been six years, and I won't let past failures dictate my future. I've learned, honed my skills, and become a sales professional since those early days. ?? Never let past pain hold you back from a better future. Use it to propel you forward. After all of my experience in the car business, when I launched Career Changers USA in 2012, I was able to identify a massive need. Dealers needed highly motivated sales associates, and those employees needed expert training in order to succeed. That's what I do.
