Our third and final 2025 Distinguished Alumni is The Honorable Susan Dolan Reed, Class of 1968. Judge Reed has served Texas in many capacities throughout her career,?including District Judge to the 144th District Court and District Attorney for Bexar County - the first woman to ever receive this title. She has served on numerous?boards and councils relating to law and justice. She has been appointed to special tasks by multiple Governors of Texas, including the Criminal Justice Policy Council, the Juvenile Justice Advisory Board, and the Governor's Anti-Crime Commission. Passionate about victim advocacy, Judge Reed has supported many organizations that?help women and children. Family Violence Prevention Services, The Children's Shelter, and various school districts have recognized her for her efforts. She currently serves as a Senior Judge for the 4th Judicial Region.?????
