I drove into an auto service center bay to check-in and have my vehicle inspected. I was blown away when the service rep provided me a report showing my tires were in alignment. This detailed report looked just like the typically paid for tire alignment. This alignment check happened simply by driving into the service center bay. I asked how and was shown the laser/video scanners at the entrance capture full color video with vehicle information, license plate, and calculate tire alignment. It also records the cars body on video should a customer claim of body damage by the dealer. This is the type of innovation and thinking outside-the-box we need to embrace as product innovators. What AI correlations may reveal other projected part failures or service areas when a vehicle is out of alignment or has specific type of tire wear? What if the vehicle knew this information on its own? What else can scanners detect? It is an interesting time to innovate! #ProductManagement #AI #ProductInnovation
