Today I'm proud to announce that I've launched my new project — Catchrain tours, and you can join the first group trip in Thailand this November: https://lnkd.in/g_78GGcU Here's why I'm doing this: ??Over the last year I was approached by many group trip platforms, offering me to manage my group trips with them. But with all I faced the same issues — underwhelming itineraries, overpriced yet low value tours. Experiences like that disappoint people in travel. ??While on the other hand, I want to help people experience the most wholesome travel adventures, that create lasting memories. That make people want to travel more. Because my mission is to empower adventure and prosperity in travel. The first group trip will be to Thailand — as it's one of the most wholesome destinations that has something for anyone. It's 13 days with best of Thailand — buzzling culture of Bangkok, bamboo rafting and elephant sanctuaries of Chiang Mai, stunning temples of Chiang Rai, and tropical paradise of the South. Among optional activities are jungle ATV rides and zip lining. Catchrain tours was built on Tourvix — my second new project, which is a website platform tailored to tour companies. Wherever I would go, working with hundreds of different tour operators, I would hear the same critical issues with the website and the booking system, so I set my mind to solve those problems: ??Most of the tour operators struggle to make sales on their own website, because they don't have the know-how of building an online funnel. ??They get most of their sales from OTAs like GetYourGuide, TripAdvisor etc., but struggle to grow, because of the 30-70% commissions. ??None of the existing systems are a proper solution, so they end up hiring a developer to custom build the site, which usually are not reliable yet you become dependent on the developer. And because of that, we built a platform tailored for tour operators, using the best practices of marketing and providing flawless sales funnel experience, that can help the tour operators to scale their sales on their own websites. It's like Shopify for tour companies. For days I have been thinking about how to write “my Bonza story”, then it occurred to me that my story isn’t really about me. I joined Bonza because I believe in what we are trying to achieve, and what we already have, so I want to share that. Bonza is about all of us. In just over 12 months Bonza has flown almost a million people and saved Australian consumers over $125 million through affordable travel, delivering on its mission of making air travel more affordable and accessible for travelers.? Of the 21 destinations we flew in the first 12 months, 84% of the routes are not served by another airline, and 89% are not served by a low cost carrier - meaning air travel was not affordable for most before Bonza. Here are some numbers to give you an idea of the positive economic impact Bonza has had on regional Australia, not only increasing tourism but also business growth opportunities by connecting people. Around 300,000 customers have flown with Bonza to or from Melbourne. That is enough to fill the MCG 3 times over. 100,000 customers flew in or out of Cairns. That is 75% of the population for that area. Approximately 70?000 customers - almost double the Whitsunday Coast’s entire population flew with Bonza in a 12 month period. More than 50,000 customers flew to and from Toowoomba. This was a key factor in Toowoomba airport's record year for 23/24, and it is not the only airport to see this. Bonza has connected more than 50?000 customers to/from Mildura and the Sunshine Coast? Melbourne and the Gold Coast. This is an extremely underserviced area. More than 100?000 customers have flown in and out of Rockhampton with Bonza, around 20% more than its entire population.? Over 22% of the flights in and out of the Sunshine Coast in the past year have been Bonza.? And lets not forget about Bonza’s all Aussie menu being the first onboard menu to be 100% sourced locally. Bottom line is, Bonza is good for regional tourism and business, which means it is good for all of Australia, and we need to do everything we can to try to keep it alive. As for these, tan time’s over for these luggage which have been set to be disposed of accordingly with our public services, please respect our people, our districts and Malta.
