Possible solutions to help over come? - Integrations between systems so your teams spend less time entering data or other operational processes. - Evaluate organizational structure- is it working to garner the most efficient operations? (e.g. centralized operation vs. decentralized operation) - Clear, consistent and DOCUMENTED operational procedures! Is what you do written down? - Good reporting to glean where inefficiencies exist and identify points for improvement. - Work with your HR teams to recruit outside the box! Are you an Academic Medical Center? Use your undergraduate career center to help advertise and recruit for entry level positions. Are you a site network?? Partner with your local workforce development agency; hire a U.S. veteran! A MAJORITY of people who work in clinical research did NOT graduate thinking- this is the career path for me! Let's be honest: These sensational percentages are designed to catch your attention but lack real backing. No comprehensive studies support such bold assertions. What’s actually happening? Companies are becoming more strategic with their spending. The clinical research landscape is returning to pre-COVID norms, allowing companies to be more selective in their vendor choices. CROs are adapting too, becoming more flexible and responsive to their clients' needs. This means Biotechs and Pharma companies are now more involved in their trials, sites, and overall quality management. We’re witnessing a shift from quantity to quality, which is fantastic. As a recruiter, this is where I excel: delivering QUALITY swiftly. How do I achieve this? My sole focus is networking with clinical professionals. I'm not executing trials, setting up SOPs, or selecting vendors. My job is to connect with exceptional CRAs, CTMs, PMs, and VPs of Clinical Operations, aligning my efforts with my clients' needs. In today's uncertain climate, with investments being scrutinized and upcoming elections causing uncertainty, everyone is aiming for the best quality.
