Nonprofits – here is some AI funding news for you.
When we sat for weeks to understand the data collected in the AI Equity Project (https://lnkd.in/gX8AX-eZ), we found five challenges from the stories (as shown in this very blue GIF).
From those data points, it was clear that many nonprofits are
●? in the early stages of AI adoption, focusing primarily on data collection and basic analysis.
●? still grappling with how to fully integrate AI into their operations, often needing a clear strategy.
●? unsure at the leadership levels how to turn this “noise” into “music”.
●? in need of funding that can help them innovate, explore, and learn without fear.
This is where funding from initiatives like GitLab Foundation’s AI for Economic Opportunity grant can make an impact - enabling nonprofits to invest in the infrastructure, training, and capacity building needed to ethically adopt AI solutions.
