After a few weeks of intense training in #OpenFOAM with Daniel Duque, our students in the Numerical Methods in Fluid Mechanics course taught within the MSc in Naval and Ocean Engineering at #ETSIN #UPM are starting their own projects. Today, we prepared a sample case consisting of a partially filled rectangular tank excited in surge motion at a frequency close to resonance. This test is deeply inspired by recent work carried out by our colleagues at #CNR-INM with #SPH.
